You never know who you’ll meet at a gig

photoWe’ve got a lovely shiny new website, thanks to the genius and generosity that is Huw Lynd-Evans.  We met Huw at a Colin Vearncombe gig and he turned out to be very handy in the website department.    He happened to mention that our website was looking a bit sad, so since we’re not ones to allow opportunities slip past, we asked him to smarten up our site and hey presto, here we are. He normally works with much more high powered clients than us, so we really appreciate him helping us out.  Guest list entry to all our gigs for ever is in order.  Check out Huw on his Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/huw.lyndevans and follow him on twitter here: @huwlyndevans

We’ve got a bit of history of meeting great website designers at gigs: we met Martin Rowsell of Simply Marvellous Music at a Kami Thompson gig and since then have worked a lot with him. His website is http://simplymarvellousmusic.com.  Most recently he ‘s redesigned Hafdis Huld’s website which is well worth having a look around: http://www.hafdishuld.com

If you’ve ever met someone at a gig that turned into a lasting relationship, we’d like to hear about it. Use the comments section below to tell us – what was the gig, who did you meet, how did the relationship develop, are you still in touch?
